Forensic Histology Department performs examinations for law enforcement bodies and histological, post-surgery biopsied material analysis for legal entities. Department performs following examinations:

Examination of cadaverous material /staining with Hematoxylin and eosin/
Fat detection /staining with Sudan III/
Iron detection /by Pearls method/
Detection of erythrocytes in decomposed tissues
Detection of diatom plankton in the kidney hydrolyzate and biological fluids of drawn bodies,
Identification of tissues from crime scene
Analysis of biopsied material
Detection of amyloid substances in tissues
Detection of mucus in tissues using Alcian Blue Stain method
Differentiation of connective tissue using Van Giseon method
Cytology examination /PAP-smear, Giemsa stain method, Alcian Blue Stain method/
CITO examination of surgical material
